Hello Summer! I hope that this season provides everything you love. I aim to have dinner at the beach as often as possible. Even PB&J tastes better with one's toes in the sand and a panoramic view of endless waves.

BOOK #4, Murder at First Light, will be released by Gemma Halliday Publishing in 1./25! Maeve, our modern nurse-midwife, is returning to college, and an iconic lighthouse is part of the mystery!






The word midwife means "with woman."

Will's Pasta Shrimp Salad


One lb. pasta shells

2 lbs. large cooked shrimp

1 cup petite green peas

1/2 cup diced sweet red pepper

1/2 cup diced yellow pepper

1/2 cup diced purple onion

1 cup sliced black olives

1 tbsp. fresh or dried basil

Four tbsp. lemon juice

1/2 cup olive oil

Salt & pepper

Breadsticks


Cook pasta and drain.

Defrost shrimp.

Put pasta, shrimp, peas, peppers, onion, and olives in a bowl.

Whisk basil, lemon juice, and olive oil together.

Pour over salad and toss to combine.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

Serve immediately, or salad may be refrigerated and served chilled.

Serve with warm breadsticks.
